Tokyo, Japan June 17th 2025 – BeXide has revamped the functionalities of the Steam demo for its competitive action puzzle game, Fruit Mountain Party, and released a new version (Ver. 1.1.0).
Additionally, we’ll be sharing new information on elements designed to make battles even more exciting, such as the new “Jammer Fruit” and “Items,” as well as details on new characters making their debut in this title. We’ll also provide comprehensive information on the three ongoing support campaigns.
Fruit Mountain Party Demo Renewed! Experience intense 4-player battles, now in single-player too!
Big news! The Fruit Mountain Party demo has been massively updated!
We’ve listened to your valuable feedback and, with this update, we’ve boosted playability—including refining the single-player experience—so you can enjoy the game’s appeal more than ever before.
Key Update Details:
Revamped “Single Play” Mode
- The previous “Practice with CPU” mode has been reborn as “Single Play”!
- What was once a 1v1 format has now been expanded into a 4-player battle featuring the player plus three CPU opponents.
- Even when playing solo, you can now fully experience the strategic depth and excitement that the game is all about.
Selectable Waiting Method for Random Matches
- You can now choose how long to wait when entering a Random Match:
“Short” (up to 60 seconds)
“Long” - If you select “Short” and matchmaking doesn’t complete within 60 seconds, CPU players will be added to start a 4-player match.
- If you select “Long,” the game will keep waiting until you’re matched with other players.
A 60-second countdown begins when you’re first matched with another player.
Once the timer reaches zero, the game starts with the number of players currently waiting in the matchmaking queue.
In addition to the above, we’ve made various UI and other changes to support these updates.
The new demo version offers a fresh gameplay experience for both new players and those who have been playing since the demo’s initial release. It’s available now on Steam.
New Key Elements for Victory: “Jammer Fruit” and “Items”!
Jammer Fruit
When you create a large fruit, the Jammer Fruit will be sent to your rival. Send them many to interfere with their game.
There are 7 types of items!
 | Paint Hurl paint to cover a random player’s screen, obstructing their view. |
 | Upgrade Increases the size of the fruit in your hand by one stage. |
  | Jammer Fruit / Jammer Fruitx3 Drops Jammer Fruit onto a random player’s plate. |
  | Minus Fruit / Minus Fruitx3 Drops Minus fruit onto a target player’s plate, shrinking their fruit. |
 | Fruit Thief Steals the second-largest fruit from a target player’s plate. |
Keep growing your fruits to send back Jammer Fruit’ and utilize various ‘Items’ to gain an advantage!
Introducing the new characters appearing in Fruit Mountain Party!
This game features four unique characters! We are excited to reveal the profiles of all four, including Art-chan, who is truly the face of Fruit Mountain!
■Art
A cheerful prodigy of painting.
She is curious about everything and tends to act before thinking. Innocent and carefree, she gets along well with everyone.However, when she starts drawing, she becomes quiet and so focused that she loses awareness of her surroundings.
Her favorite fruit is kiwano.
■Mona
A freelance illustrator.
She has a tsundere personality and enjoys taking care of others. She is cheerful and sociable, yet fiercely competitive.When she becomes angry, she can be quite scary, like a strict older sister.
She handles everything with ease, always staying on top of her work and never scrambling to meet deadlines.Her favorite fruit is peach.
■Gaku
A shōjo manga artist known for his delicate artwork, he is a hot-blooded young man with a maiden-like heart.
His hobbies include collecting miniatures and caring for plants.Though he may appear cool, he expresses his emotions openly and sincerely.
His favorite fruit is lemon.
■Chaco
She is a high school student aiming for an art university.Known for her sharp tongue and skillful use of internet memes. Though she provokes others, she is fragile herself. A sassy, introverted Chara who is bold at home but shy outside.
Her favorite fruits are strawberries and grapes.
